Today our thoughts are about the recent events in Paris and we all share in the pain that the people there feel. As some would say its a time for reflection. As you can imagine the markets are quiet at the moment with little trade being done. Add in that from tomorrow the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) summit begins in Manila till Friday meaning most of the city is closed. For now though Palm oil stocks remains high keeping prices back but still continued concern over next year remain.
Desiccated prices do appear firmer at the moment as supply constrictions bite. Philippine and other origins all appear to have moved slightly higher. The question now is just how much more impact will less raw nuts have on the market?
