Philippines Update
Primex’s factories including the Davao factory, are due to reopen after Easter, as planned and the Candelaria factory due to reopen next week.
Transportation infostructure in the Philippines is still very patchy, and although harvests of nuts are available, there are issues around the country, in getting consistent supplies of nuts to the factories.
Also, all factories are running at reduced production levels, with the social distancing measures put in place in the past weeks.
UK & EU Markets
Orders and Supply have now been filled until August in the UK and EU. With no new orders available until after August.
Pricing at the moment is also highly volatile, due to all the issues mentioned above, causing additional costs to suppliers.
